The Amazon Theatre was opened on December 31, 1896, being the most important work built at the peak of the rubber boom and the most important cultural and artistic heritage. This building works as an opera house, where people can enjoy local artistic attractions, both national and international. We will also visit the Republic Square, and so learn about the architectonic history of buildings and monuments.

Rio Negro Palace was the residence of a rich salesman up to 1917, when it became the Amazon Government quarters up to 1996. Today exhibitions and chamber recitals take place there. Adolpho Lisboa Municipal Market was built on the shore of Negro River with a clear art nouveau style and opened in 1882.
