You can embark with your camper, car, motorcycle or bicycle from Puerto Montt to Puerto Chacabuco or vice versa and travel through the Carretera Austral one-way or return trip. You will admire the marvelous landscapes of the Patagonian navigation in a trip of 24 hours between beautiful canals and islands.
Embarking at Puerto Chacabuco
Here we will embark on the ship and then set sail from Puerto Chacabuco, important port and entrance to the Region of Aysén. Puerto Chacabuco offers us a beautiful scenery with the vessels setting sail in quest of ice floes and the charms of San Rafael Lagoon and other nature areas in the XI Region of Aysén.

The visitors can enjoy comforting thermal aflorations, captivating channels, showy fiords and even a chain of islands with rich marine life. This town has 1,442 inhabitants and a warm and rainy climate.
Journey to Puerto Montt
Then we will head for Puerto Montt, and be dazzled by the beauty of this route.
Arriving at Puerto Montt
Finally we will embark at the beautiful Puerto Montt. Puerto Montt is the capital of the X Region. It has important port traffic, and so we will have different options to enjoy the routes along one of the southernmost and most beautiful places in the world. It was named in honor of the political leader in that period, Mr. Manuel Montt. The inhabitants there devoted themselves to the exploitation of the larch tree.
