Lodge
Breakfast at the lodge. At dawn we will
watch birds in Caceres Ravine; if the tide
is favorable, we will be able to see species
like the tuki, the kingfisher (Ceryle-torquata)
and the black neck sparrow-hawk. We will
go back to the lodge to have breakfast.
In the morning we will visit the town
of Yagua, where we will share the inhabitant
lifestyle; we will go to see a craft trapiche
and taste several regional beverages made
from the sugarcane juice. We will return
to the lodge to have lunch.
In the afternoon we will take part in
small-scale fishing activities in the
Amazon ravines accompanied by local fishers.
We will be excited to fish piranhas. We
will go back for dinner.
In the evening we can do some trekking
in which we will see tarantulas, glow-worms
and other nocturnal species.
