Lima
Reception and transfer from Jorge Chavez
airport in the City of Lima to the hotel.
Arrival at Lima. We will visit the Historical
Center of Lima, and see the PASEO DE LA
REPÚBLICA, SAN MARTIN SQUARE, PLAZA
MAYOR, the Government Palace, the Cathedral
Basilica, the Arbishop’s Palace,
the Municipal Palace and Santo Domingo
Church.
Then we will go to visit SAN FRANCISCO
CHURCH and the residential areas of
Olivar de San Isidro, Miraflores and
Larco Mar, where we will have a stunning
view of the Pacific Ocean.

Lima - Cuzco (City Tour and Neighboring Ruins)
Breakfast at the hotel. AM. Transfer to
the airport to fly to Cuzco (not included).
We will get acclimatized drinking the traditional
“Mate de Coca.”
In the afternoon we will visit Cuzco
city, PLAZA DE ARMAS, THE CATHEDRAL and
the KORICANCHA Complex in honor of the
“Sun,” main God of the Inca
Empire.
Then we will stroll along the majestic
SACSAYHUAMAN Fortress next to Cuzco, QUENQO
Amphitheater, PUCA-PUCARA Fortress, and
TAMBOMACHAY Archeological Complex known
as Inca's Baths.

Cuzco (Sacred Valley)
Breakfast at the hotel. We will go to the
SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS. During the trip,
we will enjoy seeing amazing landscapes
and visiting typical villages such as PISAQ
and CHINCHEROS known for their craft markets
in the main square.
After a buffet lunch, we will head for
the Inca village of OLLANTAYTAMBO famous
for its large constructions and distribution
of platforms. Then we will go back to
Cuzco.

Cuzco / Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu)
Breakfast at the hotel. We will go to the
station to start our train trip towards
Urubamba Valley and get to MACHU PICCHU
ARCHEOLOGICAL SANCTUARY at 112 km from Cuzco.
Once in Machu Picchu, we will visit the
Agricultural Sector (platforms) and then
the Urban Sector (religious, military
constructions and residential buildings),
where is the Temple of the Sun, the Intiwatana,
the Temple of the Three Windows and the
Sacred Rock. After the buffet lunch, we
will take the train back to Cuzco.

Cuzco - Puerto Maldonado - Tambopata Reserve
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer from Cuzco
airport to take a plane to Puerto Maldonado
(not included). Once in Puerto Maldonado,
we will go to the fluvial port to take a
motorboat to the lodge. After being welcomed,
we will have lunch.
In the afternoon, we will do a guided
trekking along the Lodge Trail System.
In the evening we will have a typical
dinner and finish the day with a nocturnal
walk so as to identify sounds and hoof
prints of Amazon animals. We will spend
the night in the Tambopata Reserve.

Tambopata Reserve
Breakfast at the lodge. We will take a motorboat
to get to the following trail where we will
start our new exploration walk and then
do a canoe trip. We will go back to the
lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, we can go to the forest
surrounding the lodge or do some ecotourism
activities. We will have a typical dinner
at the lodge.

Tambopata Reserve - Puerto Maldonado - Lima
Breakfast at the lodge. We will get up very
early to return by boat to Puerto Maldonado,
where we will enjoy the sunrise over the
river. At daybreak, we can thoroughly see
the fauna in action. After we have arrived
at Puerto Maldonado, we will go to the airport
to take a flight to Lima (not included). |
