It was amazing. We all had a great time and loved the experience. We have very good restaurants, a strong arts scene, and lots of things to see. Nearby is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which is a Unesco World Heritage Site, and just within that one park are more species of trees than in all of western Europe. Also, the largest private residence in the entire USA is here, and you can tour a large part of it.

Jane Utsumi - San Francisco, California, USA (29 Oct 2005) I returned safely home to San Francisco today, and had a wonderful time on my vacation. The tour guides were very good and knowledgeable, staying near downtown in Iguazu was great, because I could walk around, go shopping for those extra things, and eat dinner in town, instead of being stuck at the hotel.
I loved seeing the cataras..they were spectacular. I bought 3 pictures of myself taken by photographers associated with the tours, 2 at the cataras, and 1 in the Boca area of BA. The location was also very good in downtown for the BA hotel as well.
Thank you for making my vacation so wonderful. I had an outstanding time, and wonderful memories, and will be sure to tell others about the services I received from you. I look forward to another trip, including Rio and Sao Paolo Brazil.

We were very pleased with your company and your arrangements. We feel
you organized our trip very well. We would use you and your compnay
again.
The Hotel Claridge was great. Great location, good rooms, great
breakfast. We would stay there again.
The Bourbon was fine, although the dining was poor and we chose to go
in to town for some of our meals.
The Papyrus in Salta was FABULOUS. The best hotel we have EVER stayed
in ANYWHERE (and we travel a lot!). Wonderful rooms, great service,
wonderful location, very friendly people. We would recommend it to
anyone! Please make sure you send guests there - it is fantastic.
The tour operator (IGR) at Iguazzu was great. Always on time, told us
what was happening, and kept to all arrangements. Most tour guides had
decent knowledge of English. The Iguazu Forest trip was a lot of fun -
you should add it to your intineries.
The family loved Argentina enough to want to come back. So we will
book another one soon.

Paul & Jennifer Merlo - Canadá (9 Ago 2005) My wife and I would like to thank you for the wonderful excursion we had in
Ushuaia and Calafate last week ... we really loved both places.
I did want to make a few comments on some things which were good and
some which were not so good:
1.The Hainen Hotel in Calafate was excellent. The rooms are beautiful and
very clean and the staff were very helpful.
2. The Posada del Fin del Mundo in Ushuaia was not very good.
3. We were under the impression that the excursions would be in English.
The tour guides conducted the excursions in Spanish ... this was not a
problem since my wife and I understand Spanish but for someone who only
spoke English this would have been a big problem as the tour guides we
had only spoke limited English.
4. TL were very well organized and very helpful and the tour
guides were excellent.

I've been wanting to write to you and let you know how much we enjoyed our vacation trip to your beautiful country of Argentina. Of course, the special attention and planning provided by you and Argentinian Explorer helped to make it the wonderful trip that it was.
We were very pleased - in fact, amazed - to see how you were able to custom-fit an itinerary for us that allowed us to visit every place we wanted in the number of days that we had. Before discussing our plans with you, we thought we would have to compromise with a pre-packaged itinerary. How different from that the service you provide is!
The attention to detail provided by Argentinian Explorer ensured not only that we were able to visit all of the places we wished to, but that we could do so comfortably, with pickups and transportation between airports and hotels always there for us to make traveling stress-free. The hotels chosen for our selected price point were all excellent choices. We especially appreciated that you were ready to provide assistance, if necessary, throughout our trip. And the Card Assist was a nice bonus. (Thankfully, we didn't have to use it!)
So thank you very much, Ms. Barciela and Argentinian Explorer!

The M/V Ushuaia is a very good boot, and the staff was fantastic : very friendly and capable.

Caflisch Stephanie - Céligny-Switzerland (1 Feb 2005): Antarctica What a beautiful honeymoon we had in Antarctica, we were hoping for an trip of a lifetime and we certainly got that and more!!! We had the most amazing time on the Prof. Molchanov, a nice size ship and nice people - very international.
Both Christian and I have traveled extensively but this trip was the most amazing...It is extremely expensive but really worth every penny.
We spend the first 2 days going over the Drake passage - luckily we were not sea-sick (1/3 of the boat was...which is definately not nice) and then we arrived in Antarctica (south shetland islands) where we saw our first penguins....such a fun animal to watch, always talking and moving in their funny way! It was my birthday so it was a very special moment. We then continued our trip around the top of the antarctic peninsula, going out on zodiacs to different islands twice a day (Paulet, livingston, deception,...) where we saw many more penguins, seals and blue-eyed shags (cormorant family).
After visiting a few islands along tip of the Antarctica peninsula, we moved a short way down the west side of the peninsula and starting seeing the most fantastic icebergs and glacier sceneries. We saw seals lying on the ice in the middle of the sea.
On New-Year's eve, we were lucky to have a few whales swimming next to our boat - this was very special moment.
The weather of antarctica is something extremely wild, the temperature was around 2°C but the wind was this extremely cold wind which just went through you and made you extremely cold - we are from switzerland and use to the cold in the mountains but it is nothing compared to the cold we experienced.
Unfortunately we had to head back to Ushuaia for the end of our trip, we both had a few tears saying goodbye to the ship.I hope all is well with you and that you have had a good start to 2005.
