I arrivel home two days ago.
Thanks a lot to you, and to all others, that was
involved in my trip. Owing to all of you I had the best trip that I ever had.
I attached a picture of us, one picture from Ushuaia and one from the Amazonas, out from many. enjoy.
Have all the best, What ever you will do, and where ever you will be have at least the same successful as my last trip in South America.

Ya estamos en España, no te he podido escribir antes porque tenía mucho trabajo acumulado.
Nos hubiera gustado irte a ver pero nos fue imposible ya que en Buenos Aires estuvimos muy poco tiempo y no nos dio tiempo a muchas cosas, así que habrá que volver. (No se para cuando)
Ya tengo unos cuantos amigos pensando en viajar a Argentina así que ya les pondré en contacto con vosotros.

Now we are home in Switzerland again since two weeks. We are very satisfied with our stay in Buenos Aires and the program you have organised for us. Two tour-guides should learn better English, but on a whole the tours were very interesting. You will see our comments on the attached form.

Il viaggio è andato molto bene. Lamentele vere e proprie non ne dobbiamo fare: cercate solo di prenotare alberghi più vicino al centro.
I voli, nonostante lo sciopero Aerolineas, sono andati tutti benissimo, in quasi perfetto orario!
I trasferimenti da e per gli aeroporti sono stati puntualissimi.
Per tutto il resto possiamo solo ringraziare lei ed i suoi collaboratori per l'ottimo lavoro eseguito.

We have very good restaurants, a strong arts scene, and lots of things to see. Nearby is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which is a Unesco World Heritage Site, and just within that one park are more species of trees than in all of western Europe. Also, the largest private residence in the entire USA is here, and you can tour a large part of it.

Un gusto tener de nuevo contacto con vos. Te cuento que el servicio fue de gran calidad, de hecho me quedé bastante satisfecho. Eso aunado al agradable ambiente argentino ya que la gente fue muy linda. Mi madre quedó muy contenta y mi hermano también. De hecho Calafate fue un lugar único que volveré a visitar.
En cuanto al servicio de hoteles la atención del hotel Tritone fue excelente nada más que los tres primeros días nos moríamos de calor ya que creo no servía el aire acondicionado. El servicio de la Hostería Hainen en Calafate fue excelente de hecho creo que es un hotel nuevo y nos la pasamos "macanudo" como "decís" allá.. Y ni qué hablar de la comida MMMM excelente!!!!!. Mi mamá (y yo) se enamoró de este bello lugar. En la Hostería del Recodo la atención fue la más fina, educada y amable que he recibido incluso de todos los lugares que he visitado en mi vida lo que me creó un bello recuerdo. El dueño del lugar y los dos "chés" que atendían se "desgastaban" porque la pasáramos lo mejor posible. De verdad si existe un ejemplo del buen servicio ellos en esa hostería son los maestros.
Las excursiones estuvieron interesantes en todos los lugares, llegaron puntuales siempre, nosotros también siempre serios pero mudos de la alegría de estar en paisajes tan bellos y únicos. La comida WOWWWWW excelente...ya que desde que probamos esos cortes de carne somos muuuy exigentes en cuanto a paladares se trate. Perdona la larga historia pero refleja la gran satisfacción que tengo que contar. Y por supuesto estaremos en contacto para otro viaje. Nos vemos, Ciao. Con afecto.

Quanto à nossa estada na Patagônia, posso assegurar que foi ótima. Os serviços prestados pela sua Agência foram excelentes, tudo funcionou dentro das nossas expectativa. Não tenha dúvida de que recorreremos a vocês sempre que formos à Argentina. Em outro dia, com mais tempo, voltarei a entrar em contato para um relato mais detalhado e para o envio de fotos.

Here my special comments:
Nature, expeditions:
simply overwhelming!
Flights: OK (one prolonged technical delay in the middle of the night from Ushuaia to El Calafate, but that can happen)
Hotels:
all hotels have been good to very good, with a negative exception: the hotel in El Calafate (Fra Tolucas) cannot be recommended. The (small, family-type and very good) hotel at Ushuaia (Hostal del Bosque) has an excellent kitchen (to be noted!)! To be recommended!
Local travel agencies:
All have been good and efficient (best guides: Puerto Madryn), except the agency at Iguazu: the hotel in Brazil (San Martyn) was excellent and can be recommended.
I think that your formula of organizing your passenger's trips is perfect.

Tudo correu bem.A operadora de turimso de Mendoza é ótima, sem problemas. Os translados particulares em Buenos Aires tb excelentes e extremamente pontuais. Minha avaliação final é MUITO BOM ! Já estou me empolgando para visitar Salta e Jujuy. Muitos argentinos me indicaram essas duas províncias como sendo MUITO bonitas. Quem sabe nas minhas póximas férias? Agora, sempre que eu for a Argentina, contarei com a ajuda de vcs. Um grande abraço e obrigada por tudo.

Qué tal? la verdad es que te iba a escribir, pero ya sabes, vuelves al trabajo y se te olvidan las vacaciones en dos días. Nos fue todo recontrabien, como dicen ustedes. No tuvimos ningún problema ni con transfer, ni hoteles, ni excursiones y los cuatro salimos muy contentos con todo el viaje. Queríamos agradecerte todas tus gestiones y no dudes en que os recomendaremos a amigos que quieran viajar a argentina. Tienen un país precioso. Iguazu y los glaciares absolutamente espectaculares y en Ushuaia mucha tranquilidad, lo ideal para el final del viaje. Bueno gabriela, muchísimas gracias de nuevo. Ha sido un placer viajar con vosotros y no dudes que enviaré alguna foto (estaría bien que hicierais un concurso y como premio otro viaje a argentina para volver el año que viene, ja, ja, ja). sobretodo paisajes, naturaleza y animales. Nos faltaron unos
dias mas para completar el viaje con Iguazu, Bariloche, Salta...
otro viaje sera. Argentina esta de moda en España, tengo
varios amigos que quieren ir, y como me preguntan, le estoy
dando vuestra direccion para organizar el viaje desde alli, pues,
creo que sale mejor que llevandolo desde aqui. Cuando tenga
fotos o algo interesante para mandarte ya lo hare. Sin nada

How are you? The trip you organised was great and everything (almost) worked fine as we planned. I yhank you for the refund for the whales it was very fair and honest. I will certainly recomand you and your company to friends in the futur. Was nice meeting you and I must say Argentina was a pleasent surprise for me I traveled all over south America except brasil and Buenos Aires is by far the nicest city in the continant We loved it , we loved the food the restaurants the people and later also the beautiful country All the best and I do hope to return.

El viaje me encantó, la verdad es que la pasamos muy bien, me encantaron los paisajes de Argentina, pero mucho tuvo que ver el servicio brindado por ustedes, la verdad es que en lo personal quedé encantada.
También quería comentarte que el guía que nos tocó en el viaje al Glaciar Perito Moreno nos sorprendió de lo bien preparado que estaba, se llama Federico, pero no recuerdo el apellido, también el recibimiento y la atención en la Hostería de Calafate fue maravilloso.
Te agradezco mucho todas tus atenciones, también me gustaría comentarte que posiblemente mi mamá vaya a Brasil por un viaje de negocios pero le gustaría hacer una extensión con mi papá para Argentina así que estaremos en contacto.
Nuevamente mil gracias por todo!

I returned safely home to San Francisco today, and had a wonderful time on my vacation. The tour guides were very good and knowledgeable, staying near downtown in Iguazu was great, because I could walk around, go shopping for those extra things, and eat dinner in town, instead of being stuck at the hotel.
I loved seeing the cataras..they were spectacular. I bought 3 pictures of myself taken by photographers associated with the tours, 2 at the cataras, and 1 in the Boca area of BA. The location was also very good in downtown for the BA hotel as well.
Thank you for making my vacation so wonderful. I had an outstanding time, and wonderful memories, and will be sure to tell others about the services I received from you. I look forward to another trip, including Rio and Sao Paolo Brazil.

We have returned from our trip.
We were very pleased with your company and your arrangements. We feel
you organized our trip very well. We would use you and your compnay
again.
The Hotel Claridge was great. Great location, good rooms, great
breakfast. We would stay there again.
The Bourbon was fine, although the dining was poor and we chose to go
in to town for some of our meals.
The Papyrus in Salta was FABULOUS. The best hotel we have EVER stayed
in ANYWHERE (and we travel a lot!). Wonderful rooms, great service,
wonderful location, very friendly people. We would recommend it to
anyone! Please make sure you send guests there - it is fantastic.
The tour operator (IGR) at Iguazzu was great. Always on time, told us
what was happening, and kept to all arrangements. Most tour guides had
decent knowledge of English. The Iguazu Forest trip was a lot of fun -
you should add it to your intineries.
The family loved Argentina enough to want to come back. So we will
book another one soon.

El viaje fue espectacular Gioia y yo somos muy muy feliz de todo, de Ushuaia y sobre todo de la Posada Fin del Mundo un lugar precioso...las escursiones excelente!!
En El Calafate todo bien hemos hecho una otra escursion al parque nacional de los glaciares (Upsala y Spegazzini...) y el Perito moreno tambien.
Los vuelos perfectos y la gente argentina muy amable
Ahora tiengo contactos con un chico de Ushuaia muy muy agradable!!
Lo siento mucho que no nos pudimos conocer pero bueno te prometo que soy segura de regresar por un otro viaje mas largo que esto..

Nuestro viaje a la Península Valdés fue buenísismo. Estábamos muy contentas con el viaje y la agencia allá. Las excursiones fueron en coches mucho más pequeños que los de Iguazú. Me gustaría que mis padres recibirán también la excursión en el coche más pequeño. Porque parece mucho más personal y los guías fueron muy amables también.

Le rispondo in italiano perché la mia collega che parla spagnolo non sarà in ufficio per un certo periodo.
Il viaggio è andato bene, non abbiamo avuto grossi problemi, l'unico inconveniente è che vostro programma di viaggio non è aggiornato rispetto alla stagione invernale pertanto alcune escursioni non sono fattibili (in Peninsula Valdes non si vedono i pinguini, a Bariloche non è fattibile il circuito dei sette laghi).
Per quanto riguarda gli alberghi siamo stati ampiamente soddisfatti. In conclusione siamo rimasti più che entustiasti sia del paese, sia della gente e anche della vostra collaborazione.
La ringraziamo molto e auguriamo a tutti voi buon lavoro.

Me parece una idea genial,te envio varias fotos de nuestro viaje. Son
algunos de los mejores recuerdos, las bicis en talampaya, mojarnos en las
cataratas, la soledad del salar .... la verdad, este ha sido uno de los
mejores viajes que hemos hecho, y vuestra organización fue perfecta. La
proxima vez que visitemos sudamerica os contactaremos de nuevo, tenemos
pensado ir a Bolivia y a Chile el próximo año.

My wife and I would like to thank you for the wonderful excursion we had in
Ushuaia and Calafate last week ... we really loved both places.
I did want to make a few comments on some things which were good and
some which were not so good:
1.The Hainen Hotel in Calafate was excellent. The rooms are beautiful and
very clean and the staff were very helpful.
2. The Posada del Fin del Mundo in Ushuaia was not very good.
3. We were under the impression that the excursions would be in English.
The tour guides conducted the excursions in Spanish ... this was not a
problem since my wife and I understand Spanish but for someone who only
spoke English this would have been a big problem as the tour guides we
had only spoke limited English.
4. TL were very well organized and very helpful and the tour
guides were excellent.

Bueno, quiero que sepas que Argentina es espectacular. El viaje fue toda una experiencia y cada uno de los destinos me encantaron por sus cualidades diferentes uno del otro. No tuve ningun problema aparte del de Iguazu, los hoteles fueron todos excelentes en servicio y en facilidades.
Como quiera en Iguazu la pase bien, aunque todavia estoy confusa con la situacion por la cual no pudimos negociar nada. De todos modos, espero q estes bien y te agradezco todas las gestiones que hiciste para hacer posible este viaje...

I've been wanting to write to you and let you know how much we enjoyed our vacation trip to your beautiful country of Argentina. Of course, the special attention and planning provided by you and Argentinian Explorer helped to make it the wonderful trip that it was.
We were very pleased - in fact, amazed - to see how you were able to custom-fit an itinerary for us that allowed us to visit every place we wanted in the number of days that we had. Before discussing our plans with you, we thought we would have to compromise with a pre-packaged itinerary. How different from that the service you provide is!
The attention to detail provided by Argentinian Explorer ensured not only that we were able to visit all of the places we wished to, but that we could do so comfortably, with pickups and transportation between airports and hotels always there for us to make traveling stress-free. The hotels chosen for our selected price point were all excellent choices. We especially appreciated that you were ready to provide assistance, if necessary, throughout our trip. And the Card Assist was a nice bonus. (Thankfully, we didn't have to use it!)
So thank you very much, Ms. Barciela and Argentinian Explorer!

Nosotros fuimos a finales de Octubre a Argentina, 15 dias de viaje de novios y la verdad es que nos encantó. Es un pais que tiene muchos contrastes en cuanto a clima y vegetación y su gente es muy amable.
Nos gustaron mucho las cataratas de Iguazu y los glaciares. Nunca habiamos visto nada igual.
Con Argentinian Explorer la organización fue muy buena. Visitamos todo lo que ponia en el programa e incluso nos sorprendio la puntualidad de todos los viajes. Es muy recomendable y muy comodo ademas reservarlo todo por Internet.

Nous voici tout de même avec nos commentaires sur notre voyage, commentaires qui ne peuvent qu'être élogieux à votre égard.
Nous avons apprécié tout ce que vous avez fait pour nous.
Toutes les réservations ont été respectées même si certains ajustements ont été nécessaires lors de notre arrivée à Ushuaia et à Salta.
Comme nous vous l'avons déjà mentionné lors de notre rencontre à Buenos Aires, nous sommes pleinement satisfaits du travail que vous avez effectué, vous et votre agence. Nous ne pouvons que recommander à nos amis de faire affaire avec vous lorsqu'ils iront en Argentine.
La plupart des guides qui nous ont accompagnés au cours des différentes randonnées que nous avons effectuées ont été de grande qualité.
De plus la majorité d'entre eux et elles était très sympathiques et serviables. Ils nous ont dépanné à plusieurs occasions.
La beauté et la diversité de la nature et des paysages que nous avons pu observer nous ont émerveillés et comblés. Vous possédez un pays à la grandeur des géants. Tout y est impressionnant!!! Les climats changent si rapidement!!!
Nous avons pris plus de 1200 photos en souvenir de toutes les beautés que nous avons vues et nous les regarderons avec plaisir mais aussi un peu de nostalgie.
Nous pourrions continuer nos commentaires élogieux sans fin mais nous nous arrêtons ici, toujours sous le charme du voyage qui durera encore longtemps dans notre mémoire.
Nous vous remercions pour tout, tout, tout!!! Et nous espérons avoir l'occasion, dans le futur, d'avoir recours à vos services pour d'autres destinations.

He querido enviarte este correo desde mi regreso a México y no he
encontrado la oportunidad, pero más vale tarde que nunca!!
Quiero agradecerte y agradecer a la agencia, por el maravilloso viaje que
me organizaron a mí y a mi hermana. Todos los detalles estuvieron muy bien
cuidados, los hoteles nos parecieron excelentes y la puntualidad digna de
recalcarse.
Hemos pasado una de las mejores vacaciones que hemos tenido. Quiero hacer
especial mención a:
Hoteles:
Villa Breschia en Ushuaia, tanto las instalaciones como el servicio
Suites Sarmiento en Buenos Aires, un servicio personalizado muy bueno.
En Bariloche, ... ups! no recuerdo el nombre, pero muy buena vista, buen
trato.
Nos demostraron que se puede tener confianza en este tipo de contrataciones
a distancia, por esto, me he atrevido a recomendarles entre nuestras
amistades en México, he contado a todo México, lo increíble que es
Argentina, lo rico y hermoso que es su país, así que pronto, les estarán
contactando para solicitar su apoyo para coordinar futuras visitas.

Me contacto de nuevo para comentarle que el viaje ha sido estupendo. Todo ha salido según lo programado y sin ningún tipo de problema. Te agradezco toda la atención recibida. Lo hemos pasado muy bien y no dudaremos en recomendaros a nuestros amigos.
Me gusta comentar siempre cómo nos ha ido en el viaje. Sólo tuvimos algunos percances con la agencia en Ushuaia, el trato no fue de los mejores. Sin más me despido agradeciendo de nuevo la atención prestada. Saludos.
Resp: Actualmente no operamos más con esa agencia en Ushuaia, ya que hemos tenido algunos inconvenientes como el de Uds. Gracias por los consejos.

What a beautiful honeymoon we had in Antarctica, we were hoping for an trip of a lifetime and we certainly got that and more!!! We had the most amazing time on the Prof. Molchanov, a nice size ship and nice people - very international.
Both Christian and I have traveled extensively but this trip was the most amazing...It is extremely expensive but really worth every penny.
We spend the first 2 days going over the Drake passage - luckily we were not sea-sick (1/3 of the boat was...which is definately not nice) and then we arrived in Antarctica (south shetland islands) where we saw our first penguins....such a fun animal to watch, always talking and moving in their funny way! It was my birthday so it was a very special moment. We then continued our trip around the top of the antarctic peninsula, going out on zodiacs to different islands twice a day (Paulet, livingston, deception,...) where we saw many more penguins, seals and blue-eyed shags (cormorant family).
After visiting a few islands along tip of the Antarctica peninsula, we moved a short way down the west side of the peninsula and starting seeing the most fantastic icebergs and glacier sceneries. We saw seals lying on the ice in the middle of the sea.
On New-Year's eve, we were lucky to have a few whales swimming next to our boat - this was very special moment.
The weather of antarctica is something extremely wild, the temperature was around 2°C but the wind was this extremely cold wind which just went through you and made you extremely cold - we are from switzerland and use to the cold in the mountains but it is nothing compared to the cold we experienced.
Unfortunately we had to head back to Ushuaia for the end of our trip, we both had a few tears saying goodbye to the ship.I hope all is well with you and that you have had a good start to 2005.

Ya estamos de vuelta de Argentina y queremos felicitaros por la organización de nuestro viaje que, en líneas generales, ha resultado un éxito. Hemos venido encantados de las fascinantes maravillas naturales que hemos visitado, del trato de la gente, del funcionamiento turístico, de la sabrosa comida, de la seguridad....
No tenemos ninguna duda de que ha resultado un viaje inolvidable en el más positivo de los sentidos.
